Spring 2023
Musical revue conceived by Mary Kyte with Mel Marvin and Gary Pearle. The score, featuring works by George M. Cohan, John Philip Sousa, Joseph E. Howard, Scott Joplin, and Victor Herbert, among others, is a blend of the patriotic songs, romantic tunes, and ragtime popular during the era between 1897 and 1914.
10-MINUTE PLAY FEST
IWU's annual Ten-Minute Play Festival, December 2022
Featuring 20 plays directed by the THEA 385 students with 35 students actors from all four SoTA Departments. Performed in the EMJK Laboratory Theatre.

Songs Created for Musical Theatre by Women. 42 musical pieces from the 60+ explored by the class during the semester. The three-act evening included songs from 1944 to 2022 by 14 different female musical theatre composers, lyricists, & librettists.

Due to remote learning methods canceling the performance for my Music Theatre Scene Study, I put together a guest artist series in order for my students to continue to learn and be enriched even if they are not in the physical classroom.
